What we do
We provide a safe space for people to experience their new selves, by giving them a platform to show what they make. Some of them have been writing for years and never read a line out loud. Some pick up a mic for the first time and never put it down.
Working with artists who make a positive mark on the city, we stand for freedom of speech and expression in all its forms — on a stage, on a wall, in a zine, in a room of nine people on a Tuesday.
What we believe
Poetriarchy aims to be a safe haven for artists to share their art, in a way that is genuinely empowering and genuinely inclusive — not as a slogan, as a door policy.
It has never been about the numbers. It is about how seen you feel when you walk in. Where your silence speaks, your weird feels at home, and your art breathes without fear.

Spread a Smile is Jaipur's largest happiness initiative — two days of meals, art and performance with underprivileged children and residents of a local old age home. It is the clearest thing we can point at when someone asks what this is for.
